“World of Percussion” is born following the first opus “Percussions Stories”.
Sébastien Gisbert is writing a new chapter in direct line, keeping the common thread of rhythm, percussion, image and dance.
Always in sound research to find instruments that want to play together, the album "World of Percussion" is inspired by all the continents and brings together the "small percussions" of the world: wood, metal, rubbed sounds, melodies, rhythms , colors of different countries (kalimba, Sanza, triangles, guiro, Darbouka, Tbila, shakers, cajon, karkabous, crotales, marimba, kesskess, pandeiro, Tambourìn, woodblock, jew's harp...)
The musical and ethnic borders are diluted, intertwined and the alliance of sounds takes us to unexpected sound colors and rhythms.
Spain, Black Africa, Maghreb, Brazil, Caribbean, Arizona...The result is a warm-colored chapter, a dance, a groove, a trip to the sun.
